“Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near Him.” {Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2699}

About Us

Islamic Center of Centerville is the hub of seeking Sacred Islamic Knowledge in the Eastern Midwest region. Established in 2017, ICC is a growing community providing a place for worshippers to gather to remember Allah, study and recite the Quran Kareem, daily congregational prayers, Friday prayers, full-time Alim and Hifz programs, Darul Iftah facility and also catering to the wider community with various social and recreational community events.

Our History

Our institute was established in May 2017, as a center to produce future Muslim, American world leaders. We were initially operating in a local masjid. However, within a year, our program and in turn, it’s needs grew. We required a larger physical space that aligned with our vision of an Islamic University in which pioneers of each science of Islam are produced. With the mercy of Allah, we found the place we were dreaming of, an ideal 20,000 sq. ft building with abundant classrooms, a musalla, offices, a cafeteria, a beautiful atrium, six acres of land, and more than 200 parking spaces. We founded a sister organization named Islamic Center of Centerville (ICC) and purchased the building. In August of 2019, soon after moving our operations to this new home, located in the heart of the Centerville/Miamisburg area, we saw extraordinary growth at an unexpected speed. There was a flood of people flocking to the center from all age groups.

Today, ICC continues to situate more educational, social and recreational programs. A state-of-the-art gym facility has also been built adjacent to the Masjid ICC, est. 2021, (10511 Success Ln), which caters to all the recreational activities on a daily basis, but also serves as a social hall for Iftars, community dinners, educational events, and ceremonies.
Recently (Est. 2022), we also established a branch of ICC, Islamic Center of Franklin (ICF), located just 11 minutes from ICC location. ICF primarily serves as the dormitory for our full-time Alim students with a musalla facility and cafeteria. Local Muslims in the area can congregate for daily Fajr and Isha Salah at ICF. Two of the Falah Seminary teachers also reside at the ICF dormitory with the students, thereby providing onsite supervision and ongoing good tarbiyah.

Our Mission

Muslim communities in America will not deal with a shortage of doctors, engineers, or IT professionals, and lawyers, etc. however one of the challenges that we are already facing is the debilitating lack of traditional ulema, muftis and scholars. “Scholars are the heirs of the Prophets” (Tirmidhi 2682); serving as beacons of guidance for people to achieve success in the Two Abodes.
Our goal at Jamia Falah ul Darain, at the Islamic Center of Centerville, is to produce future leaders and guides for our Muslim generations in this country for centuries to come; young adults that are true ambassadors of Traditional Islamic values taught by our Beloved Prophet ﷺ and embedded deep in his Sahabah رضي الله عنهم.

Our Vision

We envision from the establishment of our humble institution a means for the youth to acquire a closeness with Allah through following the sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and attaining the very valuable branches of sacred Islamic knowledge that follows a path up to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. To give them a sense of identity of who they are as Muslims and engender them to be leaders of their community where they will serve, lead, spread, and strengthen the Islamic identity of the coming generations.
