Alhamdulillah we are happy to announce that we have started the phase 2 of our Rec center. Phase 2 would include almost 80-90% completion of the inside of the gym. The detailed items of phase 2 will be posted shortly Insha’Allah . 

We thank our community for outpouring support in the completion of phase 1 and we hope the same kind of commitments as we progress through the second phase.

The spark of realization that a Center was needed came from a Spiritual Retreat. Students at ICC, along with a lot of local youth, went to Michigan Islamic Institute, which had its own indoor basketball court. The bonding and enjoyment that took place on that court lead the students and locals alike to feel the need for their own center. Alhamdulillah, we started working on this project shortly after and received immense support. We hope to continue to empower the dreams of our community and our youth and complete this project soon. 

We thank our community for outpouring support in the completion of Phase 1 and we hope the same kind of commitments as we progress through Phase 2.

Alimah Program Admissions Open

Our institute was established in May 2017, as a center to produce future Muslim, American world leaders. We were initially operating in a local Masjid. However, within a year, our program, and in turn its needs, grew. We were in need of a larger physical space that aligned with our vision of an Islamic University in which pioneers of each science of Islam are produced. With the mercy of Allah, we found the place we were dreaming of, an ideal 20,000 sq. ft building with a plethora classrooms, a musalla, offices, a cafeteria, a beautiful atrium, six acres of land, and more than 200 parking spaces. We founded a sister organization named Islamic Center of Centerville (ICC) and purchased the building. In August of 2019, soon after moving our operations in this new home, located in the heart of the Centerville/Miamisburg area, we saw an extraordinary growth at an unexpected speed. There was a flood of people flocking to the center from all age groups. Therefore, within a span of six months we felt a need to build a 10,000 sq. ft gymnasium. This gymnasium fulfills the recreational needs of locals as well as our students. Alhamdulillah, phase one of our recreational center is complete. We have now started working on phase two. We are grateful to our local community for supporting the growth of this fountain of ilm.

About Us

We envision from the establishment of our humble institution a means for the youth to acquire a closeness with Allah through following the sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم and attaining the very valuable branches of sacred Islamic knowledge that follows a path up to the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم. To give them a sense of identity of who they are as Muslims and engender them to be leaders of their community where they will serve, lead, spread, and strengthen the Islamic identity of the coming generations.

Mufti Suleman Sadiq is the director of ICC and principal of Jamia Falah ul Darain. He was born in Washington DC and raised in Pakistan where he completed his secular studies. He then enrolled in Jamia Al- Husnain where he completed the 8-year Alamiyah course under the instruction of prominent scholars such as Molana Tariq Jameel and Sheikh Ramzi Al Habib. He was one of the top students of his class having extraordinary accomplishments such as memorizing the entire Sahih Al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Riyadul Saliheen, and Muntakhab Ahadith. He also memorized the entire Qur'an in one month in Ramadan during his Alamiyah program.

After completion of the program, he dedicated a year in the path of Allah to learn the usage of his education. Thereafter he went on to pursue a specialization in Ahadith in Jamia Binoria under the instruction and care of Sheikh Abdul Hameed Chisti. In 2012 he returned to the United States, serving as an Imam in Louisville, Kentucky, shortly after which he established a branch of Jamia Al- Husnain in Indianapolis under the guidance of his teachers. He remained there for 4 years where he directed and guided its vision before moving to Ohio and founding Jamia Falah ul Darain along with Sheikh Aiyub Hansbhai. 

In 2019,  he purchased a building in Centerville and founded ICC. He has since been actively supervising the operations. In the past couple of years, he has not only been a leader and teacher to the community but also furthered his own pursuit of knowledge by completing his specialization in Islamic jurisprudence and is currently pursuing a specialization in economics and Islamic finance. His presence is a blessing and a source of pride for the Centerville Muslim community.

Mufti Suleiman

Shaykh Aiyub Muhammad Hansbhai is a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio with over two decades of experience as an ‘Aalim (scholar), Hafiz (one who memorized and can recite the entire Quran), masjid Imam, teacher, community guidance counselor and prison chaplain.

After memorizing the holy Qur’an in 1969, he completed an 8-year ‘Aalim course in 1977 from Darul Uloom Madrassa Falah-e-Darian, Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, India, in traditional Islamic Scholarship with a focus in the areas of Arabic grammar, fiqh, hadith and tafseer. He then went on to complete a 2-year Arabic language specialization program from Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow, India in 1979.

He continued his journey of traditional Islamic learning by completing a 4-year advanced program in 1985 in Al-Hadith Al-Sharif specialization and a 16-week Da’wa and Usool Al-Deen specialization program from Islamic University in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As part of his studies at Islamic University, Madinah, he presented a thesis in Research and authentication of 55 ahadeeth from the hand-written treatise “Musnad Abi Ya’la” from the 3rd-4th centuries AH.

His services include working as an Arabic and Hadith instructor in India, acting as full-time Imam as well as volunteer Imam at several mosques in Dayton, Xenia and Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, Ohio and part-time instructor in International Academy of Cincinnati. He also served as the Imam/Chaplain at Lebanon & Warren County Correctional Institutions in Ohio for over 2 decades. He currently lives in West Chester, Ohio with his wife, daughter and sons.

Maulana Aiyub

Moulana Bilal was raised in Queens NY and did his schooling there. He then proceeded to complete the Memorization of the Holy Quran with Qari Ubaidullah of Hamza masjid Long island. 

He then traveled to pakistan for higher Islamic studies and completed the 8 year Alim course under well-known scholars such as Molana Jamshaid (rahmatullah), Molana Jameel (rahmatullah, Molana Nazarurahman, Molana Ihsan, Molana Khurshid. 

Upon completion he spent 1 year in Jamaat and upon returning, he started teaching in Jamia Osmania in 2018.

Molana Yasar Hayat Khan was born in Pakistan and raised in Paterson, NJ. He attained impressive accolades from a young age, including being President of his high school Class of 2013, President of Future Business Leaders of America, and the President of National Honor Society, among numerous other achievements.

Despite a bright future ahead of him in secular studies, including a dual Master's by the age of only 21, and numerous scholarships from prestigious universities he sacrificed everything in his pursuit of Islamic Studies. 

He enrolled in Jamia Al-Husnain, Indianapolis, and studied subjects such as Arabic, Literature, Hadith, Tafsir, Islamic Theology and Jurisprudence, among others. He then went on to complete his studies at Darus-Salam Seminary, Chicago, where he studied the six major books of Hadith, under renowned scholars. 

He joined Jamia Osmania/ICC in 2019 as a teacher and Dean of Student Affairs, and despite his short tenure, he was given the position of Youth Director as well, due to his passion and extensive prior experience in public relations. He’s also an active member in the community and is a member at the Islamic council of Dayton.

Moulana Yasir

Maulana Ibrahim Raqeeb was born in Fairfax Virginia. His father was very concerned about his Islamic upbringing therefore his family moved to South Africa and then to Pakistan. 

He became a Hafiz of the Holy Quran at the age of 12 and pursued his basic Islamic Education. Thereafter he moved to Louisiana where he completed his high school. 

Maulana Ibrahim’s maternal grandfather was one of the first African American converts in America so he grew up in a household concerned about the guidance of the American people. He developed the desire to bring Islam to the American society and wanted to fulfill the dream of his father (who passed away رحمه الله ) so he enrolled in Jamiatul Hussnain in Indiana where he studied the Alamiyah course for five years. 

He completed courses in Arabic, Quranic sciences, jurisprudence etc and then went on to pursue further education in Pakistan where he enrolled in Jamiatul Hussnain and completed the six books of Ahadith under the great scholars like Maulana Tariq Jameel, Maulana Ubaidullah and Sheikh Ramzi. 

He received his Ijaza in Ahadith from many great scholars with the help of his mother who worked tirelessly to see her son become a great scholar of Islam. Hopefully his addition would be of great benefit for Osmania/ICC and the whole area.

Maulana Muhtasim Hassan was born in New York City. At a very young age, he began to pursue his Islamic Studies. At the age of 13, he became a Hafiz-ul-Quran at Dar-ul-Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo, New York. Subsequently, He pursued further studies in Islamic Studies and enrolled himself in the Alim course in the same institution and studied for 7 years. He studied Arabic Grammar/Syntax, Advanced Arabic Literature, Persuasive Arabic Speech, Advanced Urdu, Detailed Biography of the Prophet (SAW), Biography of the 4 Caliphs (RA), Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence, Principles of Islamic Worship, Principles of Islamic Finance, Comparative Fiqh, Qur’an Translation, Qur’anic Sciences and its Exegesis, Hadith Analysis, and Hadith Methodology and Readings. He studied under many incredible and prominent scholars like Mufti Hussain Memon (Dar-ul-Uloom Bury, Dar-ul-Uloom Karachi), Sheikh Mansoor Memon (Dar-ul-Uloom Bury), Sheikh ul-Hadith Abdul Moiz (Dar-ul-Uloom Karachi), Sheikh Asim Ahmad (Khair-ul-Madaaris, Lahore), Mufti Faisal Ansari (Dar-ul-Uloom al-Madania), Mufti Masood Memon (Dar-ul-Uloom Bury), and Hafidh Sajid Samrodia. Maulana Muhtasim is an experienced Imam in multiple Masajid and has taught at numerous institutions. He is a patient and proactive teacher and leader focused on building relationships with students and peers to help them reach their full potential through skill-building and obtaining holy knowledge. Competent in Qur’anic Hifz and recitation, as well as reading and writing Urdu and Arabic, He holds great importance in Qur’anic recollection, up keeping Islamic jurisprudence, and Arabic grammar.

Maulana Muhtasim

Maulana Ismaael Iqbal was born in Colorado springs, Colorado and moved to Arlington, Texas as an infant where he grew up. While memorizing the Holy Quran he decided he needed to dedicate his life to study Islamic Studies in depth. His diverse background encouraged him a lot to pursue that path as most of his maternal relatives were still Christians and he wanted to engage with them in discussions of the in-depth knowledge of Islam. 

Therefore , He enrolled at Jamiatul Husanain in Indianapolis. With the grace of Allah he studied for 5 years covering from advanced Arabic literature to the  tafseer of  the Holy Quran ,Sciences of Hadith , Interfaith and comparative religion, Fiqh and Laws of Jurisprudence and Aqeedah.

He further pursued his studies in pakistan where he completed the Alimiyyah program. He studied with many scholars  and benefited immensely from Maulana Tariq Jamil, Maulana Ubaidullah and Sheikh Ramzi Al Habib  and others. He is currently a teacher at ICC/Osmania and head of ICC dawah activities.
